How come some people waste there time with texting every minute of every day and twittering?

Seriously people get lives! I hear on the news how some kids break records with thousands of texts messages. Its so retarded. Then this twittering thing where people will be at sports events or whatever and they update there twitter like every minute how dumb..

lol. i HATE twittering, but texting isnt that bad. it's fast,
