What's with the messages with # before them?
Lately I've noticed that a lot of people on facebook are posting messages with # before them like #iamsouthpark or #supernatural, stuff like that. I was just wondering what the hell the # was for?

Thats twitter
To tag a subject for searches in twitter, you put a hash (#) in front of the word. Go to twitter.com and in the search box enter # then the word you saw and it will bring up a list of posts tagged with that word Ads |

It's a twitter hashtag. People use them to tag people/things in twitter posts, and they're also used on facebook for fun.
