how do you send a message on twitter?

i want to send a celb a message but i dont want the whole world looking at it. so how do you you send a privet message?

After logging into your Twitter account,visit the person's profile who you want to privately message and look to the right. They'll be an option that says "Message [user]" under Actions. Click that button and then send the message! But you can only privately message someone if they're following you.
