Why hash marks #?????
Why do people put hash marks # before words on Facebook??? It's driving me crazy someone hit me up an clue me in Smile

me thinks they are tags...The hash mark (#) before a word in a post allows you to tag that post for that word - then you can follow the posts to the tag. This is mostly used in twitter, and it looks like Facebook has adopted the same.
