How do I get other Twitter accounts to recomend me to their followers ?

So I just created a Twitter account and I need more followers. My account is about tennis, and some quotes and thoughts about it. How do I get other accounts (those who have thousands and thousands of followers) to recomend me to their followers ?

Something that you can do is give them a shout out. People love shout outs and they will usually return the favor. Another thing that you could try is Direct message them asking for a shout out. If you do explain to them what your account is about and why they should give you a shout out. Just tell them something like it will change the lives of people who love tennis and tell them that there are over 1,000,000 people that play tennis everyday not including people who play it every now and then. They will see that as an opportunity. Also say that once you get your thousands than you will give them shout outs. This usually works all the time.
