Facebook question about Messages?

Hey.
I made a friend on Twitter, and so we became friends on Facebook. He sent me a message with his friend request. I read it on my email but accidentally deleted it from my email. I accepted his request, but I want to read the message he sent again as he asked a question. Is there anywhere on Facebook that the message is? It's not in my inbox!!!

Have you ever tried looking in the trash bin in your Inbox?

Well if that doesn't work, you can always check your email and search for something that says "____ sent you a message on Facebook" and read what the email says.

And if neither of those two work out, then just ask your new friend about what was in the message because you accidentally deleted it.
