How do you trend a topic on twitter?

Some friends and I were watching a video of Louis Tomlinson and Hannah Walker and we all started crying so we all decided that we were going to trend "Louannah" on twitter how does that work exactly? I know what trends are I just want to know how to make a trending topic?

You have to get a TON of people to tweet that particular hashtag. Like a significant fraction of the people on Twitter in your area. Your other option would be to sponsor it. Which would mean paying a lot of money.

A bunch of people, tweet a specific hashtag, and when enough people tweet it in an amount of time, it starts to trend.

Unless your Camus and say something stupid and insignificant and have all your friends and non friends respond then to inflate ur own self inflated ego then you haven't a chance
