Is there any way to change iPhone settings without jailbreaking?

I want to be able to reply to text messages without actually going to my messages. Like how droids are able to reply on-screen or close the message and respond later. Is there any way to be able to reply to the message without closing what you're doing without jailbreaking my iPhone 4?

Unfortunetely their is no way. Their might be an app that no one has noticed so you can try searching the app store but I am pretty sure their is not one. The only way is to jailbreak and I just did a video on the app and its just like a droid but better. You can control your facebook, twitter, and even messages straight from the lock screen. That means even sending a message, tweeting, or even updating your facebook status. You should check out my YouTube video. Not without jailbreaking no. There are a few good applications through cydia if you decide to jailbreak such as quickreply or message + (which isn't illegal), but like I said you cannot do it without the jailbreak as the default message app has to be open.
