Why don't Christians use telemarketing to solicit new converts?
I think it's very inefficient to get your message across by going door-to-door. Why don't set up phone banks and use twitter and other social media. Do they know about computers and how to use them?

Most Christians do NOT go door to door. Do you know about the do not call registry? If people are alienated by telemarketers hawking carpet cleaning et al, why would Christians want to be lumped in with the same group? Common sense.
And, no. I'm an agnostic. |

Christians are suppose to follow biblical instruction.
Biblical instruction is found at Acts 5:42 |

because they're already annoying enough. don't give them any ideas! geez ;D
actually, it's MORE likely that it is because a phone system costs money, and they didn't want to dip into their retirement fund...I MEAN, the offering plate money honestly though, if you ever watch the religious shows, you will notice that they indeed DO have a telemarketing deal set up. only it's for people who are ALREADY believers. they're just more likely to fork over the loot... |
