How to ask Jason Mraz question on Twitter?

Every friday Jason Mraz has his fans ask him questions on Twitter and he answers them on monday in his blog. Does anyone know how to get him a question on Twitter? it's so confusing and i don't know how to work it. Thanks!

unfortunatley you can only communicate with people via twitter if they are following you, ive been dissappointed in the past while trying to contact celebs. sorry but i hope you get that question to him =]

I'm not quite sure how Twitter works but I am a fan and read his blogs often. I've noticed, perhaps you have as well, that Jason choices insightful, out-of-the-blue, unique questions. Perhaps it's a comment of somesort that you must leave on his Joyologists page and then he selects a few...My best advice to you though is be very creative in your question. sign up for a twitter account
in the "what are you doing" box type the ff:

@jason_mraz (your question here)

your message goes to his @mentions page and he can read it he doesn't need to be following you to get the message.
