Why did my ex send me this text message ?

So like 2days ago my boyfriend & i broke up after a arguement we had & so we havent talked since. soo anyways last night he sent me a text saying "yeah i know she mentioned me on twitter." needing i remind you we had no conversation prior. this is nt the first time he has done this. its like the 3rd or 4th. i think he does it to make me jealous . bt idk . PLEASE HELPPP !

my ex boyfriend use to do this to me too! We have previously started dating again and it came up in conversation. He laughed and told me it was purely to make me jealous or sometimes he wanted a reaction from me to know i still cared! Don't respond to it. Let him think it doesnt bother you ro make you jealous.

It sounds like he was trying to email his friend, probably a male friend, who told him that you spoke about him on twitter, perhaps writing that you want him back, and he said he know, but he doesn't sound interested.

But it's just speculation. You can either let it go and move on, or ask why he sent that in another message. You can ask him if it was meant for you.

You can even write to him "If you want to play the jealous game, I'm not interested in your manipulation, if you want me back, then learn to say that you miss me, regret we broke up, and are sorry we didn't handle it better. But stop messing with me. If you want something just ask clearly."

Feel free to copy it it it's appropriate, or get inspired. The best way is to ask. If he messes with you and you are sick of it, tell him, if he doesn't even make efforts, just flush him completely. You have the right not to be messed up.
