Atheists&Christians&Everyone Tbh Why can't we all just get along?
Imagine if this category wasn't filled with Touchy Religious people & Rude Atheists and the Atheists gave their opinions to the religious people in a less harsh way.
And the Religious didn't try to stuff things down the throats of those who refuse to listen.
#Imagine if the atheists actually ASKED questions about religions instead of hating.
#Imagine if the religious kept things like 'You're going to hell' to them selves.

Sorry about the hash-tags this isn't twitter -_- It just fitted in Smile

Also if you look at this and some of my older questions and this you could call me a MASSIVE hypocrite or you could understand that i've changed my viewpoint on things and will continue to do so if the atheists here lighten up a bit :|
This is the internet i know so i don't have any control over what happens nor do i enforce the rules, but there shouldn't really need to be rules to know that this whole silent battle is pointless and the solution is simple.

The Christians here should be able to ask questions directed at christians without an Atheist telling them all what they believe is non existent.
An Atheist should be able to express an opinion without a christian directly telling them 'You're Going To Hell!' True as it might be, but just because your christian doesn't save you from hell automatically. Plus if you think about it, if that atheist believes you and starts worrying, that would be a massive sin for you. Trying to be god eh? Smile Only he knows who goes to heaven or not.

Anyway, sorry to any atheists i've been horrid to all told to go to hell :| i don't expect any bad feedback from this, but if i do......oh well, you can't please everyone.

Oh and Atheists can you please tell me why your atheist and if it was something a Christian/church as a whole did ? Smile

God bless you all Big Grin
J - I did not say anywhere that the truth is not important, I know the truth, yes. But that doesn't mean i should argue with everyone who doesn't agree with me.
Ah damn you edited it Smile never mind

I'm an atheist because I allowed common sense rather than ancient superstitions to prevail.

I don't mind people expressing strong opinions...it's the middle of the road types who want everyone to hold hands and sing that irritate me.

Christians and atheists offer worldviews that are in opposition to each other.

Consequently they both then offer solutions to humanity's and the world's problems that are ultimately in conflict.

Mutually exclusive worldviews eventually raise questions of truth.

Yes, though, I agree there should be more civility in the conversation, but that may also require more humility. . . and that so far has been asking too much.

Yeah sorry, I read your question more carefully =D

your question has a distinctly demeaning tone towards atheists.

even though its apologetic and somewhat coherent....it still wreaks of a deluded superiority complex extrapolated from your corrupt religious education.

Before my dad died he said that without religion he wouldnt of have to go to war, or so he says religion causes war. i really like your question, but some of the points are a bit "jsnkjsdf" such as the part were you say "An Atheist should be able to express an opinion without a christian directly telling them 'You're Going To Hell!'" now i dunno about other christains, but ive never said that, and it is definitly not the christain attitude. firstly there is no such thing as atheiests, to be an atheist you need to know every thing in the universe and have proof that god does not exsist right? so hence they are all agnostic , meaning they just don't know. secondly these so called christains you speak about need to fix their attitudes don't they know that without a relationship with god their religion is meaningless quote,

"James 1:26-27
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

so now we've come to the conclusion that there are no atheists but just agnostic ignorant silys? yeah... well Personally i think that christains are doing good, without talking about all the bad stuff lets talk about the good stuff. they have dozens of crap for the public, just look at red cross, feeding the hungry looking after the street people, charitys , child help ect..so much more. but look at the athiests, oh wait there are no atheists, look at the agnostic people that believe in the big bang, most ive met are selfish and only think about themselves and there big house and family.

Christianity is a dangerous religion (as are all other religions). Firstly, Christianity is divisive. There are over 35,000 different sects of Christianity in the United States alone and many of those sects do not get along with each other. Christians cannot get their own house in order, so how can you expect them to get along with others.

Secondly, all religions (and that includes Christianity) are based on lies. We have evidence of who created God, where God was created, when he was created and which myths he was based on. We have had that evidence for millennia, yet religions like Christianity continue to spread the lies. What is most hideous about religions like Christianity is their well-honed indoctrination of innocent children.

Thirdly, the indoctrination of people into religions like Christianity creates some very emotionally unstable people. Let me give you an example, in the state where I live, the second leading cause of death among youth is suicide. The leading cause of death in youth is traffic accidents. I would bet my life that their indoctrination into Christianity has a direct correlation with their emotionally imbalanced minds.

Lastly, in the United States, we cannot analyze statistics related to religion because it is illegal to collect religious affiliation data. That makes analyzing religion and its effects on its adherents virtually impossible to do.

I personally would not have the problems I have with religion if religions, such as Christianity, would tell their adherent the truth about their religion and make it legal to analyze religion’s impact on its adherent’s mental and physical health. I will continue to have problems with religion as long as religions hide behind the law.

Sadly because it seems so hard for people like you to live with the idea that other people believe differently to yourself?

Are you yet another that has abandoned christianity and the belief in a loving god for the joy of being anti atheist and indulging in all that terrible human emotion against your fellow man?

What do you people call your new religion?
