Do twitter and facebook updates cost extra on verizon if you have unlimited messaging?

i've looked all over the internet and gotten mixed answers. i'm not using the internet, i'm just getting other peoples updates sent to my phone via text messages and updating my status. i have the unlimited texting plan but will it charge me for data or something?

If you update by SMS then no it will not cost more, but if you actually go to mobile web and do updating then it will cost ya.

if you are just getting the SMS messages from facebook, and not accessing the actual internet page on your phone, then you should be fine. I do it with my phone and I have no extra charges.
