Abbreviations? Are you talking about things like USA or are talking about text slang, like thnx, u, or do you want something more like BRB ( be right back), or TGIF ( thank god it's Friday)?

Hi,
In the English written language or in America anyway, teenagers use blog, chat, twitter, and Facebook. I do know that they officially included "texting" as a new verb to the dictionary because texting has become a prominent way to communicate. Check out this site. There is a huge list of abbreviations: http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/textm...ations.asp Some abbreviations people use include: lol: laugh out loud ttyl: talk to you later thnx: thanks lmfao: laugh my f***ing ass off ftw: f*** the world |
