Help me with tumblr please?

Hey Tumblr users, I just started using tumblr and I don't understand how do I get followers if I don't know anybody on it ? I have twitter and I've got like 700+ followers there but on tumblr I have only got 1 do you know any tips how to improve my tumblr , and where to get followers ... thank youuu

One of the rules of Tumblr (non official rules of course) is not to talk about Tumblr outside of Tumblr! The world might learn about the secret blogger's lives ;D

Onto the answer....
-Invite your friends. Easy peasy.
-Follow people!!!! If you put somewhere on your blog such as your bio " I always follow back" You tend to get more followers :O If you follow someone, they may check out your blog and be like OMG this guy does follow backs *clicks follow* rather than ignoring you so that's one way.
-TUMBLR TRAINS. Invaluable weapon. Google what a tumblr train is if you are unsure, but basically you post a link to that tran on your blog, and then click join train - it adds your blog to a list of 100 and anyone who views the train is able to follow you with 2 clicks. The downside is if you get a lot of followers, they can get pissed at constantly being spammed with Tumblr trains.
-Post interesting stuff! If you constantly post awesome stuff that is reblogged a lot people will recognise your name and follow you
-Promos - inbox a large blog and ask them if they will do a "promo for promo" - they promote your blog in a post, in return you promote theirs. If you can get any blog to do this it is great publicity.
-Facebook Tumblr groups - post a link to your blog on the facebook groups if you have a facebook account, say a little about your blog, and mention if you do follow backs and you get more followers.
-Reblog popular posts - your name gets added to the long list of notes and may be noticed when other people reblog it - they don't even have to reblog it from you
-Liking posts - like a lot of one user's posts and they may follow you thinking your nice - repeat this for more followers.
-Ask box - if you ask blog a question then your name will appear on all of that blog's followers dashboard - if they click on the link they may follow you.
-Interesting blog names - lures in followers.
-Constant theme - if someone follows a blog they tend to want to know what to expect - it doesnt mean you have to restrict it, just post generally same subjects.
-Erotic blogs - erotic and porn blogs surprisingly get the most followers. Strange, but they do.
-And finally - tumblr is a blog site - it should be for you - not followers - so don't just post stuff to get "tumblr famous" as people get famous off myspace, not tumblr.
