How do I stop facebook from spamming my hotmail account?
I want to do 2 things:
1. Stop facebook from emailing me ever again (it only floods my hotmail email account).
2. Delete all emails in my hotmail from "Facebook" (several thousand to delete that I can't be bothered going through them manually).

Please help me!

Go to Facebook account's Account settings < Notifications and then check the email frequency box.
It will email you less and only on some notifications.

1) Get on facebook and go to your options page, somewhere you should be able to change the email settings. Its a screen woth a bunch of checked boxes. Hopefully its not changed.( i deleted mine a couple weeks ago.)

2) In your hotmail go to the search bar and type in facebook, it should bring up all the messages pertaining to it. Then you can click the highlight all and delete buttons.

Hope that helps!

Obviously you haven't checked your Facebook settings to stop notifications.
Why would anyone wait until they have "several thousand" unwanted e-mails to start thinking about deleting them?

I think you need to deactivate notifications via e-mail including login notifications.
through facebook Account settings > Notifcations , try unchecking all types notification via email.

or through your hotmail you can try to choose not to recieve certain notfifcations by clicking "unsubscribe" in each e-mail.
for example: if you're recieving notifications about comments activity clicking "unsubscribe" in that type of e-mail will rule out recieving any e-mail from Facebook regarding the commets activity .. etc

1) Go to account settings on facebook and change email settings
2) Go to Hotmail Inbox and click Social Updates/Email , Select all and Delete .This means that only emails from facebook or twitter would be deleted .
