Please give me all of your advice. It's appreciated. Also, any personal experiences would be great.

Wake up in the morning and start a new day.
If you want to forget about a family member, you can't. If you want to forget about someone else...what was the question again? Ads |

To get them to block you from their myspace/ facebook/ etc. Erase their number and do what you can to never see them again.
I had my first love leave me a few years ago, and it still hurts sometimes and I think about her, but I just avoid the thought of her. |

I would go and find something do , try to keep busy as I can. Once your body get tired. You just want to have a good sleep then you wouldn't have time to think about sad things. GOOD LUCK!

erase numbers of the person.... try to go out and meet new people... the worst thing you can do is stay home and think about it the whole time... Think that there are many wonderful people out there.

Delete, delete, delete. Delete their name and number from all your phones and contact books. Delete every email, text, letter, etc they have sent to you or that you have sent to them (all your inboxes and sent folders including the ones on facebook/myspace/etc). delete pictures off your computer (if you really cant, then at least move them onto a seperate CD and tuck that cd far away from sight). replace every picture of them that is displayed somewhere (phone's wallpaper, frames, computer wallpaper, etc). delete songs that automatically make you think of them from your itunes and ipod. block them on your instant messenger so that you can not only NOT recieve IMs from them, but you wont even be able to tell if they are online. Delete them from your myspace, facebook, twitter, all of that. if you ever have to run into them again in a social or professional setting, dont look them in the eyes even while saying hello.
it sounds extreme, i know. but it really does work. and it works fast. im not going to go into my pathetic dating story, but eventually i came to the point where i HAD to get over this guy. i tried to just ignore him and pretend it would fade on its own but it never did. after i deleted every trace of him i started to realize that it was too much work to keep checking on what he was doing so i wasnt think about him as much. i started thinking about him less and less every month until i woke up one day and realized i hadnt thought about him in days (which was HUGE as i usually couldnt get by 5 minutes without thinkiing about him). you have to give yourself time, and give yourself the faith to realize that you will get over this person. this will work for a former lover or a friend that stabbed you in the back as this person was both for me. |

our brain is like hard disk of computer
It can never erase any memory You want to forget about some one is because you do not like some one you do not like some is because you expected a good deal from him..like affection/help/good relationship/ being faithful when that person did not fulfil your expectation, you want to forget him some one was not at fault you did not judge the person and expected and got disappointed so forgetting him is to forget what has happened between you both wish him well so you develop positivity and divinity take it as a learning it is like monkey is your friend you are carrying a garland monkey is telling you, why are you carrying heavy weight give it to me. I will help you you think he is my friend and you give the garland monkey's nature is to make bits and pieces of what evet it gets on hand so it has messed the garland you get angry with the monkey but it is not fair because u have handed over the responsibility to un undeserving person lessons is, even a person volunteers to help you have to judge their capacity and give responsibility sometimes, we do not judge the person and get angry so correct yourself you will forgive to forget |

From my experience, the best way is to try your best to keep your mind off of that person. keep your mind occupied. Absorb yourself in something you love doing most. I know that if you really liked that person your thoughts will sometimes drift back but keep occupied. Time will eventually heal all ills.
