If I have my Twitter profile protected, can people who are not following me see when I @mention them?
I have my Twitter profile protected and I wanted to know whether or not when I @mention someone who does not follow me they are notified?
Also! Would they be able to @mention me? And would I be notified if somebody I don't follow or doesn't follow me @mentions me?

they will be notified and they will be able to see the message however they wont be able to respond to what you say
