I was messenging my fruends when it wouldn't go through. Now I can't message anymore

Yahoo has been working on the servers. It takes 2-3 days for each one. This is further disrupted by Yahoo's recent integration with Facebook and Twitter. Now Yahoo is partnering with Zillow for real estate information. That will cause some slowdowns.
