why do celebrities only twitter to other celebrities even ones they probably dont know?

ive recently joined twitter and noticed that celebs only twitter other celebrities and not fans or normal friends. like miley cyrus has been twittering spencer and heidi pratt and i dont think she even knows them. and shes only got a few fan messages to write back to ! why do they do this ?

Because they're all a complete bunch of árseholes perhaps. They posses bums like cat-flaps.

Probably because they don't want to talk to "ordinary" people. Or they can't (because of something "important" to them.). One or the other. I doubt it's the latter.
