Okay, so lady gaga posted this up on twitter and I'm confused... help? And I don't care if you hate gaga or whatever stating that would be irrelevant to my question.

I see love in black and white - you either love me or you don't, there's no partial love.
passion in shades of gris - gris means gray in french. So you can be passionate about someone to differing degrees.
But when it comes to you and i, color is all I see - To me, this says that she sees all colors, not just the monochromatic, because her feelings are so rich and vibrant, like all the spectrum of color.

Maybe the black and white is the love between a man and a woman (or between two different people). She sees passion as those two colors/people as coming as one together, probably as them "doing it". But when it comes between her and that other person, she doesn't see them as being black and white but being better than that

when they say, something is so black n white...its so basic and can't go into depth with it. maybe it means that love is seen as a cliche thing in the cliche romance moviess that r unrealistic. passion is just ...weird. i guess. and then wen its you and me( lovers) everything is real, its clearer.. more beautiful.

You see love in black and white. There is no in between. Love either exists, or it does not. There's no kinda/sorta. (I assume you meant to type 'grays'. If not, sorry). Passion is in shades of grays, meaning that out of everything you have passion for, there are some things you are more passionate about than others. But when it comes to you and I, color is all I see. Meaning I don't care about everything else. I don't care about trying to sift through the spectrum. All I care about is YOU, and trying to sort anything else out is a waste of time.

For starters, GRIS is a spanish word for GREY.
Seeing love in black and white means to her love is just plain boring and unexciting.
Her passion is all full of grey. So therefore she has no passion for anything.
"But when it comes to you and, color is all i see." This is stating the fact that when she is around this certain person she feels love and passion and no longer feels the plain old boring black and white.
