Okay, so, I just got a Twitter! But... I have noo idea how to use it! I mean, I understand the basics, but, I don't understand what the '#' is for and why do people always use it! I saw a girl do '#juststop' Why do they do that? Next question is; why do people make there texts so confusing? Like why: "@*name* #twitter" For example. And then everythings highlighted?! Then... ohhh, heres a basic one. How do I get my twitter popular? I would like a persons input, not an input from a website on this question.

It's just a hash tag! & sometimes the hash tags are trending topics. So that may be why.
