Supporting british made products and how to source british made industrial parts?

I try to do my bit on the products via refills for my whisky decanter but on industrial parts, frankly Britain doesn't seem to make them any more. I don't quite know what all these frightfully smooth chaps actually do there beyond doubtful financial manipulations; trying to run dismal service industries for their domestic market and provide social support for all the countless sick, lame and lazy. "Made in England" used to be iconic and universally present; now it's all but disappeared. Hopefully Scotland can keep the whisky moving.
