What degree should I get to learn how to build websites?
I have a great idea for a website but I don't trust getting someone else to build it for me cause I don't want to end up like the guys who came up with the idea for facebook. I would like to study online at home. Think Youtube and ebay. That's the best I could compare it to structure wise.

Already answered your question, but, to say more:
- Learn HTML, CSS, javascript, php, mysql and AJAX framework (that is for the coding)
- Get a good course in "advertising graphics" (that is for the Design)
- Get a batchelor in Marketing (that is to make your site sell)
- Mary the daughter of a banker (that is for the backup).
