can i know my TIN NUMBER?

i need my TIN now,i had before when i work at a company but i lost it.so if it is possible i need it.

In the US, Taxpayer's Identification Numbers are issued to corporations which by law are separate identities, however people get SSN numbers. True, functionally the TIN number is the same thing but a legal resident would get a SSN number. There are unscrupulous people who arrange TIN numbers for illegal individuals but not every company would accept a TIN instead of a SSN though theoretically they could. You would have to contact Social Security to have your TIN reissued and there may be questions a to why you have a TIN and not a SSN. You should look into getting a legal status instead of dealing with gray market scam artists. You should check your tax return for your TIN.
