Is it rude if I don't follow someone who follows me on Twitter?
I don't know these people, they aren't friends and some of them don't even follow the people I follow, so that's why I don't know how they got my name let alone follow me. I just opened an account and only has tweeted 4 times so far.
And do I thank them for following me? or do I not do anything, I don't mind if they follow me. please explain the answer and not reply with a one-word answer. Ads |

Sometimes those are spam accounts. They will tweet normal stuff for a while and then they will flood your time line with links. There's nothing wrong with not following people you don't know.

You don't have to do anything. It's not rude if you don't follow them back for whatever reasons. The more you explore Twitter you will notice nearly everyone doesn't follow back everybody who follows them and vice versa.
