What happened to our facebook accounts?!?

So me and my boyfriend would use Facebook to chat with each other and we would chat a lot. But one day I tried to message him on an iPad and it wouldn't let me! I tried to on a computer too but it said I could no longer send messages to the user! I can't find him in search, friends list and even posts we're both tagged in! It's all the signs of being blocked! But the weird thing is he direct messaged me on twitter saying the same thing happened to him but only with me! I swear I didn't block him and he says so too! Although, to this day we now only use twitter to message each other but I still wonder about the Facebook thing... help?

Solution acquired from Facebook :-)

To remove a block you've set on someone:
Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
Select Privacy Settings
Under the Blocked People and Apps section, Click "Manage Blocking"
Click "Unblock" next to the person’s name

I think Facebook have blocked him.
