How do you text from Twitter?

On Twitter, when people tweet, I see it could come from web, txt, mobile web, etc. What is the different between mobile web and txt? Could you just text from your phone to Twitter? how do you do that? Well I have a texting plan and not an internet plan. Is that way of texting possible? Am I wrong? Please help! All you need to do is go to Settings on your Twitter profile and select Mobile. Now just enter your phone information. You will get a confirmation text and from there you can Tweet by just sending a text. There is no charge from Twitter's end, but your own text charges will apply.

You can also turn it on and off whenever you want. Plus you can set times when you don't want to receive text messages from Twitter which is useful as you get a notification whenever there is a new direct message. Since some users have BOTS to send these messages, they all seem to come in the early morning hours.

As for the difference of where the Tweet came from, it all depends on the application you are using when you Tweet. If you post from the main Twitter website it says "web" and when texting it says "txt".
