Youtube to get a Record Deal?

Wussup yall. I'm just another rapper trying to make it like the other billion out there. I been doing this for 4 years now. It seems like now a days not only do you have to make good music, but you gotta be marketable and therefore have a character to yourself. I've been posting still images on youtube with my music as videos. Apparently, after four years, I've learned it's not working. What else can I do? I really have no idea. I don't wanna make anything that wont grab attention. Help a brother out!

Send ur demo CD to producers & CEOs of record label ! Get in touch with Dr Dre or anybody can sponsor you ! Get in touch with local radio stations ! Leave ur YouTube links as a comment in other new successful rap song and ask YouTube user to check out ur music and support you! Good luck!

Some of the most successful artists in modern day had to work years and years of hard work to finally get noticed. Just keep doing what you're doing. Maybe you should set up a twitter or a Facebook just dedicated to your music, and you could cover popular songs so it would be easier for people to find you on YouTube. In addition you should probably have good quality videos so it would draw better attention.
