Needed to bail out there retirement accounts, or that there members can not make enough on that union retirement to not need Social Security. You can not. Union in and of themselves are not bad the problem is there is to much corruption involved with the members unable to remove those in charge. We need laws that prevent those on the nation level from staying in power.

Because the NON-UNION management of said company nearly bankrupted them all with their inept decisions.

The fact that workers BET ON THEIR EMPLOYER....invested their earnings in the business they work for..... and said employer MISMANAGED this investment to the tune of nearly losing it all..... you say is the fault of the worker.

Their retirement is paid by the greedy corporations they work for. The Union doesn't pay their pension you loony toone. Also why would they turn down the social security they paid in to receive at retirement age.. Where do you work, McDonalds or a car wash? You will probably be living under a bridge when you are no longer able to work. hahaha

My tax dollars do not bail out my pension fund. If we are underfunded it is only because of bad investments by BANKERS who manage the pension money. They lose it in the Stock market and realestate. If we are under funded, we reduce the amount you can draw when you retire
