I got mentioned in a tweet, will my sms followers see it?

My Dad follows me on twitter and gets all my tweets through text. I went to a movie with some of my friends and one of the friends i'm not allowed to hang out with anymore. That friend mentioned me in a tweet, even though I didn't tweet in will my dad still get the text update???

if you followed your friend = yes, if no then your dad cannot see it

I don't think so, but if you tweeted her back he could see what you were replying to. I don't think he can through text though, so he'd have to use a computer or something.
