What does it mean to deal with something?

I can't seem to get over something in the past. I got rid of my twitter account and blocked them and made myself unable to be searched for on facebook. But even if I stay busy and focused on the task at hand the picture of that person comes in my head even when I wake up in the morning! It's been three months! Haven't I already dealt with it? I forgave them and changed some of my habits so I won't be hurt like that again. What does it mean to deal with something and how do I deal with this?

Tackle things head on and get over them and move on. Sometimes hard to do, but its what we should do to really go forward with our lives.
