How can I keep from showing up in a search on twitter?

Someone found me on twitter and I don't want them looking at my tweets. I don't want to protect my tweets though. I changed my username, display name, and picture but when you search my old username my tweets still show up and it shows my account still. Is there any way to get it to not show all of that when you search my old name?

No, there isn't. If you're talking about the Google search - most of it will go away eventually, when the cached page is updated. But you have no control over it.
