How do I talk to this girl?

So kind of a long story but I am in high school and toward the end of the year past year I noticed this girl in my class. She wasn't the most popular girl (kind of unpopular actually). She was also unpopular with guys, and she isn't the most beautiful girl in the world, but for some reason I all of the sudden got this intense strong attraction for her, it wasn't like any other attraction I've had for a girl. Anyway we don't really know each other well and now I rarely see her around the school, so really the only way we can talk is through twitter or Facebook. I really really want to talk to this girl but I'm really shy and I'm afraid that if I just start talking to this girl that barely knows me she's gonna think I'm a creep/stalker or just a weird person. How do I start a conversation with a girl I barely know without being awkward or weird. Thank you for any answers, I really do appreciate it. Remember we are teenagers! Thanks.

well you don't have to make it that awkward if you keep it light and casual, just strike up a conversation with her after school one day or something, then ask for her number when you're comfortable enough too. just keep it natural and see where things go.

That sounds freaking adorable. High school love is the hardest because guys can be labled as a "creeper" just for liking a girl. If I were you, I would start by saying "hi" to her if you notice that she is by herself. Note, do NOT initiate if she is with her friends. They may pressure her into thinking that you are a creeper, even if she doesn't feel that way about you. After that, start talking about small things like what activities she's into, what music she likes, her favorite/least favorite teachers, ect. Don't talk to her about boring things like the weather, that will just make you seem really lame and boring. Above all, just be cool and casual and remember that she will be just as nervous as you are at first. Good luck dude
