what to post on facebook?

i see everyone using it but like i don't know what to post. everything i wanna post my friend already has. can someone give me like basic things people post and also what does poke actually do? and when people do the rate thing whats up with that? (ps im more of a twitter person) if someone could answer these question(s) that would be so great! thanks!

Post like tbh, have your friends like your post and you say something about them.

Post something your doing or generally interested in and would like to talk about, a poke means someone want's your attention or is interested in talking to you and a rating is ifÉ— he/she likes or dislikes something you posted

A lot of people that I see on Facebook just post things that their doing that day or in the future. Post witty comments or cool pictures if you want to get a lot of likes on your status.
