How do I send videos to other people on youtube?

I looked in the share area but all I saw was facebook, twitter ect. Why is youtubes new layout so crap?

I agree, YouTube's new layout IS crap, but underneath the video should still have an option "Share" and that's what you want, then it gives you an option to send it to your contacts. Hold on, I'll just go check.

EDIT: You want "Email" - I know it doesn't sound like it, but that's how you send vids to contacts.
