Google chrome malware on twitter?
Whenever I use google chrome and I'm on twitter, if I search a phrase or hashtag, it sometimes changes to a page that says "Danger: Malware Ahead!" and a message saying its blocked twitpic, a page within twitter or something.

What can I do and why does this happen?

The same thing is happening to me as of right now. Every time when I go to visit someone's page it's says the same thing you stated. I suppose everyone is having this problem today and it's not just us. I'll give it a day or two until this situation is clear.

You can read about it here

http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/s...e&hl=en-US

How did this happen?
In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message.

When you get that message pop up... at the bottom of the message you can click - Advanced - then click on - Proceed at your own risk.

It's up to you if you want to continue on Twitter or not.

Chrome scans webpages for malware, or any type of malicious code before you visit it. It's possible that they could be having a small glitch, or someone may have actually succeeded to inject malicious code into Twitters page. It doesn't happen often, but it is entirely possible. Chrome was just rated the best malware scanning of all browsers so I would stay away from it for a day or two until the problem is resolved by Twitter and/or Google.

Hey this just happened to me! My account has been hacked several times before, and luckily I have managed to free it!:L I don't know what to do now, I use Twitter every day! Maybe wait a day or two, see if it is what it says it is. I hate it when things's like this happen, and I'm sure a lot of Twitter users feel just like me and you with this. It's on my profile only though, nothing else like trends or other people's profile page

Same thing happened to me. My advice is to just stay away from the website and just wait a few days or weeks until the problem is resolved.

It's not blocking now, whatever it was whether: glitch in Google Chrome or twitter or even a real threat--- Chrome users aren't blocked.
