What is the best way to get readers?
My Name's Bree, I'm 17 and I have a published novel, and I have been trying to gain readers. I was wondering what the best way to advertise (for free) and weather or not it seems like a good read. Its in barns and noble so you can see it here.

This is something you think about BEFORE you published. try to get reviews from blogs that review selfpublished books. you can find these blogs if you ask other self-published writers. Find them for support and ask their advice about promotion and marketing. make sure you have a website with clear links where to buy it. make sure your blurb reads professionally and is clear. Make sure you're on social media but do not post about your book too often. that will annoy people and they'll end up unliking or unfollowing you. If you are on social media then most of your posts should be about anything but your book. and please don't send private messages to people asking them to by your book. that's down right annoying and I''ve uunfollowed authors who've done that. Don't spam blogs talking about your book or linking to it. All of that stuff is annoying and is not effective.

Pick up some books on how to market/promote your book and many people in the industry write articles on it. This isn't the place to come here and ask this type of advice if you're serious about it. No offense but it shows how much of an amateur you are.
