So here's the deal Mr. i know what you mean okay so that same thing happened to me and he asked for my number at first i was hesitant or whatever and i finally gave it to him he is 4 years older than me and ive known him for 2 years and now he is my boyfriend i think you should go for it age really doesnt matter and if shes that shallow to hate you or not like you just because of your age or something then she was never really worth anything at all. Also i think that you should talk to her because even if shes not interested and it doesnt work the worst thing that happened was you tried to make a new friend and it didnt work out there will be other people and long distance is really a problem if you work at it.
