naa, don't believe it when you hear people say such basic statements like "post quality content." It's a lot more than that. First, figure out what kind of people you want to recruit to follow you. Then, use "Twellow" to mine twitter bios for that keyword and...follow them! Make a "list" within twitter and apply those to the list so that you can monitor your niched lists for any tweets they've made. Reply to all of those tweets by those people you want to follow and they will follow you after reading your intelligent responses eventually. Another good way is to participate on group discussions inside linked in. Then at the bottom of your linkedin contribution, suggest keeping the discussion going on twitter with a link to your twitter url.
