Deactivating your Twitter account?

(I hope this makes sense) On Twitter, it says something like "We only retain your user data for 30 days from the date of deactivation, after which it is permanently deleted".
So my question is, say you deactivate your Twitter account for 15 days, reactivate it, and then deactivate it for another 15 days. Will it be permanently deleted? or do you have to deactivate it for 30 days straight?

It has to be deactivated for 30 days straight.
