Any suggestions for good, (free), Android photo apps?

I don't want to use instagram because of all the issues AND largely because they don't post pictures to Twitter anymore. I do, however, like that you can play with the pictures on your phone and put the different filters on them before posting. Are there any good apps that allow you to take pictures from your phone, edit them on the same phone (with cool things like filters) and then just save them?

Ok so you want a good app but you want it to be on Android and you also want it to be free? This does not compute. Android is so horrible.
