How do you make FRIENDS on twitter/will somebody be my twitter friend?

So basically I want to know how to make friends on twitter (not followers).

I've been on twitter for a while and even though I stopped tweeting for a few months I'm back and tweeting more than ever. But all of my friends have 'twitter friends' that they really get along with and I'm quite jealous :///
So, how do I make twitter friends?

And are any of you interested in being my twitter friend? *puppy dog eyes*
I'm fourteen, a girl and I like horses, writing, reading, music (of most genres), films, johnny depp, the vampire diaries, true blood and loads of other things. I tweet about anything and everything.
