Mac pro - fb notifications appearing on desktop, HELP!?

So whenever I get a notification or an inbox on my fb, it appears on my desktop, even if Im logged out.. I dont know what to do. It's so annoying and anyone using my laptop can see . HELP PLEASE, it's really important, I have no more privacy.

You probably have a app installed that is doing this you should uninstall it or it might be because your logged into facebook literally on the computer itself. If you have mac os x mountain lion it has a facebook and twitter integration so you should log out by going to the apple menu system preferences and look through all of the settings hehe im on windows on my mac right now so i dont know all of the right settings sorry i couldn't give you and more help.
