Actually I quite enjoy facebook. I don't use all the apps and stuff but I like keeping tabs on friends I don't meet as often as I'd like. It's also great because I can share any interesting links/videos/etc I find with friends that I'm sure would enjoy them as well.

I also find it useful to market my comic.

Facebook is TARGETED at teenagers and young people. No where does it state you have to be young to use it... I know my father and grandfather used it. They just target it at younger people because they use it more. So, no. I have never realised it's *for* preteens. It's targeted at them. Not made for them.

If you think it's aimed at preteens then that means everyone you add on facebook are preteens. It's actually aimed at college students. Try deleting the kids and add people your own age, then you won't have that problem, unless you are a preteen, then I don't see what the problem is.

Like someone above me said, it's actually aimed at college students to keep in touch. And whoever above me said that's it's "AIMED for preteens", do your research before you make yourself look dumb.

"Preteens" means ages 10ish-12, right? Well, if you know ANYTHING about computers or even read the Terms of Use like you should, you'd know that preteens of this age are not even allowed to register with Facebook. Therefor, your presumption is illogical.

You're only saying that because you probably used Facebook in a way not meant to be used, like sitting playing Farmville all day. Welcome to reality - contrary to popular belief, Facebook's actually a little bit more useful than making today's teenagers fat and lazy.
