How can Twitter make more money?

I have to do a project for my economics class. We were given a case study on Twitter and told to solve its problem: monetization. Twitter has difficulty getting money from advertisers.

We have to analyze the problem and come up with ideas to help them monetize better. So can anyone think of ways Twitter could make more money from its users/advertisers?

Twitter can sell advertising packages. This might consist of banner ads or inline links in tweets. They can also sell business pages that offer premium ways to customize the page.
