Newcastle, Manchester, Leicester, Cardiff and lots more................. you need to look at a city and research it.......... then type in cost of living in? and a website will give you general costs......... and none of those cities are the same as London, but who would wish to live in London ( and I have) it is lonely with people too busy to talk, very expensive and as a student costs are important..........

ALL you want is found in MANCHESTER.....Greater Manchester is BIG, with a growing population of over 2.7 million....has all the advantages of a big, big city on a more human scale.....
SORRY SID...WRONG...MANCHESTER IS the THIRD MOST visted city in the UK after London & Edinburgh, AND LIverpool the FOURTH...SO GLASGOW (much as I LOVE it because studied there) is...???????!!! NOT 3rd any way!!! Ads |

Manchester your best bet, 2 Universities, loads of nightlife and 3 shopping malls (The Lowry, The Trafford Centre, Arndale Centre). Oxford Road is awesome! Manchester is also comparably cheaper than London. Good Luck!
