How do I start a business using social networks and actually make a profit?
How can I create a business using services such as youtube, twitter, facebook, and other social networks to structure it to where it's profitable? I have seen success stories, but I haven't seen the actual process.

The first thing you need to know is what is your business and what is your product.

Then you start providing information to your potential customers.

I have provided a couple links below for you to reference.

So for example, lets say you sell vitamins. You create videos about the great benefits of vitamins. You also write articles that contain similiar information and post them on places like ezine-articles.

You can use twitter to have customers follow you and to have new potential customers follow you.

Then you provide the same great content to facebook. You can join groups that are about the same things you are focused on.

The key is providing a link to your website or blog.

This is where you provide your best information and content and also the place where you can talk about your products.

That is a general overview of how it works.

It's going to be very difficult to create a business using social networks unless you have an unique idea. There are so many people looking at social networking now, so the competition will be very tough. Also, the success stories are talking about the one in ten thousand who actually manage to create something, not the average.

It depends on a lot! Most success stories found in sponsored links is not real, but yes you can make money.

1. Know you product and figure out what is the best way to brand/market/sell....if a social network seems like a good answer, then go for it.

2. Know your audience, each social network has different demographics, different ways to advertise, different ways for people to accept or reject you, and different costs.

3. If you are going to buy ad space know that selling mortgages will costs more per click than a book club in a small town in the middle of know where.

So answer step 1...what is your product, then everyone can answer you better.

If you are interested in twitter (which is free, no ad space to buy) you can see how to do it for free at http://www.twittersalesdriver.com

Good luck.
