Does He Like Me? Or Am I Just Over Analyzing?

Hi, well I'm a freshmen in high school and never really got attention from boys in middle school. So after I moved to where I live now, it seems like I have a bunch of guy friends. Anyway, after about a month of school I now have a crush on this guy. He's a freshman like me and he's constantly flirting with me. Like he's always telling me what he's doing (I.e. going out of town for the weekend ect.) When I don't ask. He always wants to be my lab partner cause he claims I'm smart ( his grade is actually higher than mine). When we first met and I cut my hair he was like one of my only friends at the time who noticed at said it was nice. When I see him in the hallway he smiles at me.( he never smiles) and he's always talking about his Twitter and tumblr and how I should get one and follow him. Well earlier this week I asked him to tell a mutual friend to stop suggesting we date because I figured he liked some one else and I didn't enjoy hearing him jokingly say "er no she's annoying" cause he doesn't know how I feel. And later that day in biology we were all working ( me, him, and our mutual friend ) and she asks me if I was a virgin and I just nodded. Then he asks me the same question and I'm like " why do you need to know?" And he says " cause I want to make sure everyone at this table is pure " and I just smiled and said yes cause again I assumed he didn't mean anything by it cause he always told me he didn't like anyone. Well on Friday some girls come over to our table and starts asking him who he likes and he says "a girl" and sort of looks up at me real quick but I pretended I wasn't paying any attention to them and continued working. And so they continued bugging him as he put it and after he still wouldn't say who it was they left. Well at lunch that same day I tried to give him my number and he was like no! And I got offended and left. Cause he has a tendency to say and do stuff that annoys me and I decided i was over it. So... does he like me?

Well, when this guy wants to sit with you in biology but his grade is better than yours maybe its just because he doesn't want to find himself with some idiot.

Then, maybe he just likes you as a friend and nothing more than that. Those girls who told you that he liked someone, I guess they just noticed you guys talking together and were jealous or something.

I think he does like you and was embarrassed when you asked him for his phone number.
