How to gain more views and subscribers?
Hello,

I am an aspiring Consumer Electronics Reviewer. I started a youtube channel back in april '11 and started reviewing things I owned, until I got my first product for review in January of '12. I currently have 140k views and 1.9k subscribers. My problem is that I seemed to have reached a plateau. It just leveled off. I continue to make videos and sometimes get products for review, but theyre always small items. I have a FB page for the 'business' and a twitter account. I recently created a website to go along with it, and all 4 are linked with each other. I have a few questions about this. Besides regularly posting and keeping my fingers crossed, what can I do to increase views/subscribers or gain likes & followers? And also, how can I find companies that would be willing to let me review their products?

any more advice would be greatly appreciated.

for those that want to check it out. YT account http://www.youtube.com/awesometechviews

Actions you can take to increase subscribers, likes and followers:
1.Make really awesome videos! The more useful they are, the people will naturally watch them, link to them and come back for more.

- I looked at your video channel and you can improve your video quality by showing more of YOU. It's much more interesting to watch you talking that just your hands.

- Create a rating system you can display on the screen. For example, Quality, Price, Ease of Use, rated from 1-5.

- Be aware of the what your camera is capturing on the screen. The view is clipped, the product isn't centered, and it's hard to see.

- Show more personality. Be yourself and people will enjoy watching more.

- Keep your review short, 2-3 min max.

- Watch the reviews on Cnet.com for ideas.
2.Add annotations to your videos at the beginning, middle and end, asking people to subscribe to your channel. Add this call to action in text at the end of your videos as well.
3.Subscribe to the feed of other reviewers on YouTube, leave comments and interact. Many of them will follow you back, like and comment.
4.On Facebook, ask your fans questions. Engage them and answer their questions in return. Become a resource they pay attention to.
5.Use Facebook Sponsored Posts and Ads to grow your Facebook audience.
6.Get some anchor text backlinks for your videos to drive them to Page 1 for the terms people are searching. For example, "iPod 4 review."
Find companies who want you to review their products by:
1.Search blogs and websites that sell the type of products you'd like to review. Send them an email, link to your social media following and make an offer to review their products.
2.Sell product reviews on Fiverr.com.
3.Find your competitors on YouTube and see which products they are reviewing. Contact those businesses with an offer to review their products.
4.Write guest blog posts and videos for tech review blogs. This will help you connect with more businesses who want reviews.
Right now, your videos aren't as useful and helpful as they could be. That's the #1 thing you can do to grow your audience. Ask your followers and fans what they want and how you can improve, then do it.

I use Vagex.(http://vagex.com/?ref=220683)

I've only been mucking around with it for a few weeks. it works pretty well so far.
Its a standalone program that works off of IE. People can use it to view videos, and get more credits if they like, sub, and comment. So its user driven, and youtube doesn't have much to ***** about.

Credits are pretty cheap to buy, or you can make your own by letting it run in the background overnight, and just allocate the view credits to your own video.

Its been the least sketchy solution I've looked into so far, and it IS driving views, likes, subs, and comments to my video!
